Metered on completed analyses. Not on hope.
The billable unit is a completed analysis, priced by assay type and genome size band. A platform-side failure is not billed at all.
01 · Plans
Five tiers.
| Plan | Who | Seats | Metering |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | Evaluation | 3 full | 2 free WES analyses, no WGS; 30 days |
| Research | Academic labs, core facilities | 5 full, unlimited read-only | Per-analysis, pay-as-you-go |
| Pro | Biotech, CROs | 25 full, unlimited read-only | Committed volume + overage |
| Clinical | Hospitals, clinical labs | Custom | Committed volume, priority queue, on-demand F2 |
| Enterprise | Pharma, national labs | Custom | Custom, incl. dedicated capacity and EU residency |
02 · Metering rules
Written to be true in code.
A platform-side failed analysis is not metered at all. If our infrastructure loses your run, you do not pay for it.
A QC-failed analysis is metered at a reduced rate, because compute genuinely was consumed — but the result is withheld from automatic release, so you are not charged full price for an answer you cannot use.
Read-only seats are free on every plan. Auditors and collaborators should never be a reason not to enable oversight.
Every organisation sees a live quota meter and can set a hard spend cap. Cost estimates are shown before submission, with a requirement that the estimate land within 15% of actual.
03 · Why there are no dollar figures yet
Because the input is unmeasured.
Cost per genome is a formula whose two dominant inputs — verified F2 instance pricing and measured pipeline hours — do not yet exist. Setting a price list before measuring the cost base would mean guessing, and the guess would be wrong in one of two expensive directions. Prices are published once the benchmark suite has run.
If you need indicative numbers for a budget or a grant application, contact us — we would rather give you a range with its assumptions attached than a list price that misleads.
